Keep Going

David was anointed to be the king of Israel at the age of 15. He then spent the next couple of decades on the run from Saul; in anguish, in turmoil and more or less destitute. Imagine how he must have felt during this period. I’m sure there were many times he felt like giving up. He didn’t give up though. He kept believing. He kept going.

He eventually became king; and a great one too.

No matter what you’re going through right now, remember that life is a journey. You have to go through the necessary stages of your own personal development process. You have already been anointed to be the person you are destined to be. The key is not to give up. The people that succeed and win are the ones that never give up.

Trials and tribulations are what help you to mature and develop into the character and person that God created you to be.

Don’t be discouraged. Don’t give up. Keep believing. Keep going.

Thanks Segs, this is really insightful. When I look back at the last ten years of my life I can see how much I learnt from the tough times. I can’t even remember the good times. Ems xx
